The U.S. Army has asked to for another salute battery for July 28, 2007 at Fort Dix, NJ
they are having a change of command ceremony, and a 90th anniversary celebration. The planning officer is interested in having Federal infantry as cavalry. They expect about 4000 active duty personnel to be at the base, people going and coming from overseas.

As part of the program a group of enlistee will be taking their oath during the ceremony as well.

The salute battery of May 5th exceeded beyond our wildest expectations. The service men and women were thrilled that we came to show our support. We are still receiving emails to that effect.

Jeffrey Cohen

Chris,

Jeff said "Fort Dix, NJ" in his blurb.

Mr. Heath,

I wouldn't have asked if he wrote the location in his post, but he didn't. So I asked and he amended his post to include the location.

Jeff,
Some of the 13th NJ would like to act as a color guard. We have a nice National flag and a baldric. Can you use us?
