If anyone has a tab of "Old King Crow", I would appreciate it and be willing to share some of my tabs with you.

I have been "winging" this one, and it sounds pretty good, but I would like a tab.

Thanks

Ben,

If you have access to the Tuckahoe Music reissue of the Briggs Banjo Instructor, 'Old King Crow' is in there. If you don't have a copy, it may be difficult to obtain. Apparently Joe Ayers is out of the banjo business, or at least very difficult to contact.

I'll tab it out for you, if you want it.

Carl,

I do not have access to that one. If you'll tab it out for me, I'll be eternally grateful. I have lots of tabs, name one you want and I might have it.

Carl,
I just joined this forum and saw your generous offer. If they are still available, and not too much bother for you, please send me a copy of these tabs. Thanks, Jim

Good luck getting in touch with Joe Ayers,I have been trying for about 7 years. By the way watch out for Bob Fleshers tabs. Bob is a hell of a nice guy, but has a habit of playing things his way. Not that it is bad just not exactly how the songsters say. But if you are palying close enough......... guess what it is correct. How many Larned Skollars do you think were sitting around the campfire playin de ole banjo?
