For those planning on coming to Pickett's Mill, go ahead an get those registrations in. I know it is easy to wait till the last minute but please don't. Remember confederate registration is limited (100 Infantry & 27 Cavalry) so hurry up. They are going fast.

Tripp,
Is there an updated list of registered? I noticed the WIG web is from the 24th of last month.

I have posted an updated registration list to the event website. I will try and do this every monday. I will also try and do the same for the fence rail drive donations.

The registration list continues to grow. Let's keep those registration coming in. It makes it a lot easier to finalize plans when we know how many are coming. We would like to have all registrations in no later than two weeks before the event. That would be May 15th.

Is this list for all involved. In that I mean, is this a list of Federal and Confederate registered or just Federal?

It is both Federal and Confederate.

As of today we have 155 folks registered for Pickett's Mill. Not bad considering it is still just over 6 weeks away. If you are planning on coming, lets get those registrations in. The sooner we know how many to expect the easier it is to make the preparations.
Don't forget to send in copies of a picture ID and medical insurance with your registration. Also the registration fee must be paid with either a money order or PayPal. No personal checks.

Tripp,
I just want to commend the event organizers for publishing the list of those registered. Not only for the sake of knowing our numbers, but also to see what pards from across the country will be there.
A lot of names I know that are going are not yet on that list, and I expect to see a big push in the next month.

I need to point out one more thing. We are requiring individual registration for this event. Unit registrations will not be accepted.

Has the limit of 100 Confederates been reached yet or are there still openings? I was thinking of trying to get a buddy of mine to come if there are some slots.

No the 100 Confederate limit has not been reached. Though I expect we will start to see the number begin to increase sharply as we get closer to the event.

We are trying to figure out how much we need for rations and other things so we would like for everyone that is thinking about coming to get their registrations in soon. Hate for anyone to go hungry.
Also the Confederate registration is a little over 60% full. So if you are planning on going Confederate for this event you need to get your registration in. These postitions will be filled on a first come basis. With that in mind, it is recommended that anyone registering as Confederate list an alternate Federal company if the Confederate registration is full.

Tripp,
When is there going to be another (weekly?) update? I am trying to get my company together and knowing who else has registered will be a great tool.
Thanks,

And what is the status on CS infantry? The shaking of the shrubbery has produced a few that would like to come on down.

Ok, I hope to have the registration list updated by tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunetly life has kept Coley and I from making that happen. Employers and bill collectors don't seem to care if you are trying to organize an event.
Next as of today, open Confederate registration is closed. Anyone else wishing to register Confederate must get permission from the company commanders, Marlin Teat or Paul Jerram and will be handled on a case by case basis. Corey Pharr's Company is full.

I have just posted an updated registration list for the Mill. It is current as of what we have recieved by last Friday.
The event is now three weeks away. We need everyone registered by the end of next week. So if you are planning on coming and are not registered, the clock is ticking.......

I was curious as to how the numbers stand for Union vs Confederate so far.
