Dear moderators, I was curious to know what your thoughts might be as to adding a forum that allowed specifically for death notices of reenactors and responses to them by fellow reenactors.

Although unrelated to the previos post about a creating a site obituary; my proposed suggestion for a forum category would be a section for CW Sites and Museums. While many of us are familiar with major sites and collections (MoC, CMH, etc...), there are literally thousands of museums (some of which having quite impressive collections) that most of us will never have the priveladge of seeing.

I realize of course that the scope of this sort of feature could become overwhelming; and this would most certainly be an area that would need to have baseline criteria set.

What would the scope of those locations to be included be?
How much information would be available about the site and its collection?

With the announcement of the Passing of another brother reenactor posted in the Sinks, I bump this thread again with my suggestion.
Kindest regards

Mr. Neal

Sorry to hear about the passing. I do think your idea is a good one rather then having a DN in the sinks.

We've added a sub-folder to the Feedback folder entitled, "In Memoriam".

I've moved several threads in there, if I missed a thread of someone who has passed, please link me to it and I'll make the necessary adjustments.

Thanks for the suggestion. Lets all hope that folder is under-utilized for a long time to come.
