Gentlemen,
there will be weekly updates on Outpost on the forum. Rosters will be sent to the company commanders and overall commanders of both sides weekly to keep them up to date on registration.
As of right now, I have 41 confederates and 18 federals registered. I know most like to sign up later rather than early. Let's get registration in as soon as possible.
We have discussed this previously for the event but I want to make sure it is clear to everyone. We are portraying the movements of both armies around the time of Stone River. Since we are having this in October, it will be based on the fall of 1862, 2 months prior to Stones River. There were many actions in and around Spring Hill, Nolensville, Triune, Franklin during that time.
The battalions will move to find the other side. When finding the other side, they will not ensue a general engagement but rather feel for opportunities in the others lines, determine their strength and numbers and maintain an outpost. Though there will be movements against the other, this is not a "shoot-em up" event. What transpired in situations like this was that one side usually forced the other to move from their positions and vacate the area.
If you have any questions about the event, please let me know. We have some very unique experiences planned for this event.

I have posted an updated registration list for the event on the website. It is current as of last Friday. While I know this event is still a couple of months out, there is no need to wait till the last moment to get that registration sent in.

I appearently lost part of my mind this morning when up dating the list. I blame it on Monday. Any way I have once again updated the list. Hopefully I did not miss anyone this time. Sorry for the confusion.
