What type of tent would a Cavalry 1st Lieutenant sleep in? (Field officer)
What type of hat would they wear?
Hat Cord, Braided or twisted?
Embroidered hat patch, brass or nothing?
Would they carry a sabre dis-mounted? if so, gold sabre knot?
Anyone have any Idea about a "standard" dismounted officers kit?
I know these questions are simple, and I have been told many different answers.
