Grant Wilson asked me to post a poll to inquire how often we all visit the AC.

I think the majority of the forum members are still waiting for the calculations to come back from the guys at NASA before they answer this question.
Grant Wilson asked me to post a poll to inquire how often we all visit the AC.

I visit as often as my busy schedule allows. Sometimes it's a tough choice: Do my course work or check out the AC forums? I wonder which one I'll choose? :wink_smil

First thing in the morning...before feeding the cat.
First website to visit during lunch...before emailing my sweetie. :-)
First site to hit when I get home...before dinner but after feeding the cat. (He can only be ignored so many times in one day)
Last site to visit before I go to bed.
Not a very dedicated visitor, huh?

Several times a day. Not only has the site opened up a whole new perspective on improving my impression, it serves as a stress release at work at breaks and lunch. At least once at night at home.

Jim Mitchum
Over the last few years, when the site went down, I was in therapy.

Huck,
Lawsy son, don't talk about the site being down----gives me the shakes and I have to go find some nerve medicine.......

I know what you mean, when that happens, I have to look busy at work and be productive, for heaven sake, that I would have to do some real work,
for national security. :tounge_sm

I think our site outages-problem is fully rectified.
One, we are now using a commercial host rather then counting on the graciousness of another reenactor. Two, I'm able to do backups right here on my machine so if we ever do lose our provider, we shouldnt lose our info again.
We'll still have outages from time to time just in the normal course of things, but they should be brief.

No slam meant son, we know the outages were beyond your control. We're just extremely grateful that you put up with all it takes to keep a valuable site such as this up and running.
Now that its all fixed, I'll have to find some other lame excuse for taking a pull off my "nerve medicine". :wink_smil

Oh that wasn't taken as a slam at all. I'm just trying to give you all the scoop on where we're at.

Once before school,
During school (Like now, Oh Hey Mr. Nordhausen!)
and after school, in between visiting the OTB and doing homework and playing outside and eating.
On the weekends I try to visit as much as possible, to catch up on things and check out the poll (And Bully Buy)

I Hate to say it but I have been having sinus problems lately and have been staying home . I did alot of research today on civil war period lanterns. I'm thinking of starting a thread on it in a minute.

How often do I visit? Well, used to be at least twice a day, until I moved up North, and had to leave a lot of gear behind, PLUS losing the free internet access I had in my old job . . . so these days, it's about twice a week when I can get in to the public library . . . and though it's free, it's limited to one hour per session . . . I feel downright deprived!! :(
Life is 'ard, an' then yer die!!
Best regards to all,
Jack Enright
PS ref. parts of America where they omit the 'L' sound in front of a 'D' (as in 'code' for 'cold'), we do the same in the London accent known as cockney, in words like cold, bald, old, etc.

I try to visit at least twice a day. On a weekday I visit after school and before bed. During the weekend I visit when I get up and before bed!

I used to visit only the store and the "Bully Buy" section. After I set up an account, I started visiting at least twice a day. I'm looking for pointers on improving my impression but also enjoy the patter. I also appreciate the way this web site is maintained and kept fresh.
