I'm glad (well, you know what I mean) that someone else is having trouble with it. I was afraid it was just something wrong with my machine or its settings that I couldn't locate.

I've had the same problem. I also thought it was my computer. My computer seems to have issues with a lot of things, so I'm glad it's not just me. :wink_smil

Yeah gents, it's not working right. I'm not sure if it's the IRC server we're registered with or if it's the software I have installed. Need to find an alternate server location to test it out.

When I use the regualr chat feature (the non Popup) it tells me there was an error while connecting, therefore not allowing me to do anything.

When I use the Popup feature, it works fine for me.


Does this sound the same as with everyone else?

No, actually it doesn't work either way with me.

I'll be taking a 10 day excursion here with work. Hope to spend some time with this issue when I return. Look for resolution on the chat-room issues sometime in March.

I hope your excursion, even though it's for work, includes lots of down time for you. You deserve a sunny beach and a fully stocked museum of your own for all the mountains you've moved here.
