Bunting- or patriotic decorations for the 1840's.

I know this is a little pre-period, but I didn't know where else to post this.

Does anyone know of any photos, books, etc. that have any information on patriotic decorations for the late 1840's? I've looked online for days in various forums, search engines, photo gallerys, and I still haven't come up with anything pertaining to this (the things I've found are 1860-after).

Any help would be appreciated!

Chessa, have you tried NCMoH? I know they have few patriotic/political artifacts from the period you are asking about but I don't know about bunting.
