Richmond Virginia, 1961, Byrd Airport.
...some things never change...
If the moderators want to remove this in a day or two it's fine with me. I just want to show how far some of us have come and how little others have.

Looks pretty dammed good for 1961. It looks to me like the leathers, cap, and musket are all original.
Is that you?

Is this me?
My grand-father is standing behind the fellow in uniform. I was born in '84.

Damm, my wife is older than you! It is fun to see the hobby back in the begining. I wonder how many of those guys are still at it.

anyone notice the pistol he is holding? Looks like a Lematt, but I could very easily be wrong. Download and zoom to get a good look.

And... I dont think the box is original as it looks like you could fit a Kia spare tire in it!

I was thinking the box was some later Brit stuff.

It does look pretty masive. I think he may have slept in that box. He looks like he is about 5'1''. Im 5'9'' and my 1816 comes up to my shoulder.
