Excellent letter, thank you for posting. It makes you realize the massive scope of the war, the aftermath of battle and the things we can never re-create (thank god) or experiance in this hobby. It also brings to mind how as citizens today, just like our forefathers in the USSC did, we can lend moral support to our troops through care packages, letters etc... Again thank you for posting.
