Hello All,
I've searched the AC database with little success and am posting a thread accordingly. Does anyone know an online database or printed source that features a large collection/assortment of 19th century housewares, i.e. flatware, furniture, bedding? I have visited the French Decorative Arts site that Silvana linked to but would like some information on Western (being Missouri especially) goods. I'm participating in a couple of Living History events this year where I need to provide most of my own housewares and hoped for some assistance as to what the average working-class western civilian would have used in their home. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
Matt Shomaker

Susan and Brian,
Thank you for your replies. I have been to the Arabia Museum several times but, unfortunately, have not been able to examine anything in any detail. The new Arabia website is outstanding though!

Thanks,
