Perryville Battlefield's event will be held October 11 - 12, 2008. This event is by invitation or application only. If you have not received an invitation please contact me or the park to go through the approval process.
I am putting together a Federal 100 man company with ration issue. The registraiton is only 12.00 per person and that pays for everything. Additionally and most importantly EVERY DIME of that 12.00 goes for preservation. All the money raised will go into the Perryville Battlefield Preservation Association for land acquisition or repair of the structures on Merchant's Row. Mess #1 has generously offered to be the NCOs for this company so we need privates and some specialized impressions like cooks etc. The park is providing all the necessary accouterments that the cooks will need.
The Federal Army will be occupying the Living History Village this year as a post battle scenario for Perryville. This will be a semi-immersion event and the authenticity standards will be strictly enforced. You will not be allowed to walk on for this impression.
