I have updated the registration list. As you know Capt. Robby Mitchell's CS company is full. Lt. Mike Kupsch's 14th La company has only 3 spots left and Lt. Craddock's Federal Pioneer Platoon has only 5 spots left. All other companies have plenty of room.

I try to update the registration list at least once a week. I am currently at a work conference out of town so I have not been able to get any registration that have come in the mail this week.

Gentlemen,
I have updated the registration list once again. I have added some more info to it as well. There are several folks that have sent me a registration form but no registration fee. I am sure this is just a minor oversite or possibly a mistake on my side. Anyway I have indentified those that I don't have a registration fee from on that list. Please look it over and if you are listed as not paid contact me as to what your intentions are or if I might have made a mistake.
Also Steve Acker flew down this past weekend so we could finalize details. We have now finalized the march route and schedule. The overall route is much shorter than past events at the Mill but don't let that fool you. It will still be very taxing. The big thing everyone will need to remember is this is not a tactical but a serious attempt to recreate the actiions and movement of the actions that occurred around Ownes Mill. Everyone needs to keep this in mind through out the event. Just because you can see the flank of the forces we have onsite, that does not mean you can flank and get into their rear. Remember we are representing just a small section of a much larger force on each side.
This is going to be a fun event. Registration is still open so please encourage folks to send them in. As always feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

As quoted from the website, the deadline is nearing.
"Registration for the event is $25 for those mailing in their registration and $26.50 for those using PayPal (PayPal charges us to use their service). The deadline for registration is May 11, 2008. Please, everyone register before the deadline and don’t wait until the last minute, so we can have an accurate count. Registration fees may be paid with a Check, Money Order or via PayPal.
For those mailing in their registration, money orders are to be made out to the Georgia Militia Reenactors' Society and sent to:
Tripp Corbin
2712 Wilding Green Lane
Dacula, Georgia 30019"

Just a reminder, this is the last week to get your registrations in. May 11th is the last day. This means for those of you using snail mail you need to drop them in the mail on Saturday the 10th.

Gentlemen,
I have again updated the registration list on the event website. I strongly encourage all those planning to attend the event to look it over to make sure I have not made a mistake. Though I would never officially admit it to my wife, I do on occation make a mistake or two. Remember we will not be allowing walk-ons except for Active Duty Military. So to avoid problems at check-in please make sure I have you on the list if you have registered.
