Duffield Work Day on April 5th

There will be some work projects going on at Duffield, in West Point, KY, on Saturday April 5th if anyone is interested in coming out. Sponsered by the Friends of Fort Duffield and SUVCW Ft. Duffield Camp #1.
This will be an excellent opportunity to come out and help prepare for our excellent September event!!!

A few tasks were done at the fort today despite being cooler then expected. Matt Rector and I spent the afternoon burning a lot of wood as Mother Nature did its job on the fort recently with its storms leaving behind several fallen trees and limbs everywhere. There is still some work that will need to be taken care of before Buell's Pursuit.

The cabins at the fort will be getting some attention soon with new roofs and doors as well one getting a new foundation.

There will be a few more work days here in the near future. We will keep you posted on the date and times.
