The registration form for TMD should be available soon. I spoke with Matt Driggers from the George Ranch today and he stated that soon there will be out buildings including a tobacco shed. The crops are in and should be ready for harvest at TMD (including the tobacco, unsure of what other crops, I believe corn was one). This will offer additional scenario/impression opportunities for participants at the 1860 site. It may also offer an educational opportunity for those unfamiliar with tobacco harvest and preparation.

I just received a call from George Ranch with an update on the 1860s site; they will have a couple more out buidlings up in time for TMD, the sugar cane and sugar press are in as well as the tobacco. This should be a great event with lots of opportunities for interpretation.

You can find information about the event at http://www.geocities.com/txcwcivilian/TMD.html or directly at the George Ranch site at http://www.georgeranch.org/annual-events/TMD/
