Another Carpe Eventum Opportunity for Westport

One wing of the 1st Battalion, U.S. Frontier Brigade, will be camping campaign style the entire weekend and doing picket/outpost on Saturday night at Westport. We hope to have two companies. I will be the commander of the wing, and Captains Jon Birket, of the First Kansas, and Jim Trent, of the Second Colorado, will be the company commanders. This will not be an intensive, all-weekend outpost, and we will cooperate with the static wing of the battalion throughout. We welcome any Union campaigners who'd like to fall in with us.
