Just a short note to let you know the pics from the event are posted at www.chesapeakevolunteerguard.org
The highlight of the event was the mutiny of Company C late Saturday night and their storming of the guardhouse/sally port.....all off the cuff...waiting on the AAR for that one.
The Park was thrilled, and we are excited about returning in April 2009.
Here is a picture or two as well....

Mr. Anders,
I had a great time this past weekend (as I am still reminiscing on it today ), as did our mess mates. Thanks for extending the invitation. It was nice to finally meet you in person as well.
Warm regards,

I had an absolute blast and cant wait to do it again.
I agree that the mutiny of Company C was the highlight of the event. Yes, I was the guard who was captured by C company and held hostage in the jail. I do know the identity of the man who sprung open the jail cell allowing the prisoners to escape.....maybe I'll give the full story one day. I couldnt keep a straight face in my cell as the Major negotiated with the mutineers and quelled the insurrection.
Thanks Chris for such a great event. The 8 hour drive was well worth it.
