Programming at Missouri State Fair

The New Madrid Guards have been asked to do some educational programming for the Missouri State Parks at the State Fair on Sunday, August 17. The goal is to help educate folks about the war in Missouri.

We will do a generic western Federal impression and will do demos throughout the day for the public. Some programming for kids will be involved also.

If anyone is in the area and would like to join us in Sedalia please let me know and I will send you more information.

Just another bump for any Missouri boys that can help out. We could use some more folks to make for better demos and programming. I will be coming up through St. Louis and over to Sedalia along I-70 in a van and can pick up people along the way if that will help. Right now I have room for 5 in the van.

If any of you Kansas City boys can help, Rick Gath will be heading down and I'm sure would be glad to have someone ride along with him.

I will be sending info emails out to those that are helping.

I realize this is the Sunday after Athens, but would certainly appreciate the help.
