Shout Box...?

When I logged on to the main page this morning I noticed that the shout box was missing, has it been taken down or are there just problems with it? Personally I never really used the thing but I can see the purpose of it.

Nobody seemed to be using it so I took it offline for awhile. I can throw it back up at anytime with a couple clicks. I try to keep that content on there moving around and fresh.
