Veteran Company,

To portray the accounts of the the original boys which may be read by clicking the link in the post by Steve above, you may opt to leave a hat, coat, or blanket behind at the fort. What does that mean and how will it be accomplished? First what it means is you will be without that item on Friday night and Saturday during the march. As an example, I'll leave my coat but bring my blanket. I have arranged for a period correct manner for a new coat to arrive for me. How this will be accomplished for the enlisted men will be via a quartermaster issue. At registration I will have a roll of paper of sufficient size and string for you to tie up your items and mark them. There will be a correct quartermaster form for you to sign as you are refitted at the fort. Or feel free to "help" the new guys from having to carry so much of their impedimentia. After all that would allow you to not have to spend from your clothing account. I hope this helps you with your planning.

A couple people have asked what time the shuttle will start running?

We will start about 6 pm and make a trip every 30 to 60 min as arriving people dictate

Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend

When leaving gear behind please make an effort to make it look as new as possible for re-issue

To all arriving for the event, there will be a Liability Release that must be signed at the registration area. The bottom portion has a place for medical information and an emergency contact.

Please make sure you sign and fill out this information prior to getting shuttled to your camp. The medical information portion will be torn off and given back to you. You should then place it under the tins in your cartridge box. (If someone has a better location let me know but it needs to be uniform so we can find it if there is an emergency).

I know that everyone put their medical info on the registration form. The idea here is to have the information in 2 seperate places for added safety.

I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Can we get an actual street address that will get us to or very near the parking point. It will aid those of us who use GPS as a navigational tool.

There isnt really anything on that side of the road other then a boat dock into the Green River. I am going to swing by and see if there is an adress near by that would be good to use...

Only address I would think one could use for this site would be the gas station across the street.
