The Kentucky State Highway Department of Transportation has a few mojor road construction projects going on as of right now. There are two areas in the state where you could see some possible delay:
If traveling south from Ohio along I-71 look for delays in and around Florence.
If traveling north from Tennessee along I-65 look for delays from the TN/KY state line all the way up to Bowling Green.
They said the best times to avoid these areas is between 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. due to rush hour traffic.
