Best Sling?

Gents,

I looked at previous threads on this topic, but my question is more specific than found- What type of rifle sling is best for a hobo/Tennessee Roll, IYHO, based off of the ability to adjust the length or fit it to the body? I know the weapon which I carry should be the one used, but let's say that was not an issue here.

Hi John,

If you are looking to use a differnt sling for a bedroll than what is on your rifle. I woudl suggest using your Cart Box Sling, as it is nice an wide and will be comfortable. Besides you can put your box on your belt.

Although ideally, I would use the rifle sling from your gun for the bedroll

How would you use your rifle or cartridge box sling for your blanket roll sling? By that, I mean how would you go about assembling it, etc?

Why wouldn't you just punch extra holes in your rifle sling so the roll could be carried the way you want it to fit?
