Athens Christmas Open House December 6

I just wanted to invite any and all to the Athens Christmas Open House Saturday December 6. Throughout the day we will sing carols, eat goodies at the Thome-Benning house and other holiday events. Hopefully with some help I will be putting together a list of activities.
Citizen impressions are wanted with a few of us portraying men on furlough from Company I of the 21st Missouri. (Think Lost Tribes in October)

The timeframe of this event will be: December 6, 1863.

This event has been postponed until 2009. The site has a new administrator and in talking with the rangers they would rather have a good event next year. Christmas is still a go! So buy buy buy!
