These are the distinctive trowsers made of variegated (so-called “tiger-striped”) brown jean cloth lined in coarse tabby-weave cotton “domestic.” Whether your impression is C.S. military (any theater) or a civilian farmer, mechanic or day laborer, these tongs are just the ticket!
They feature modified “mule ear” pockets, bone buttons and of course plenty of hand-detailing. This pair is size 36 waist by 34 inseam (w/belted back for adjustment). I never got the chance to wear ’em, so they are as new.
Made by Scott Hanes, Richmond Depot, and they retail for $180--you can have this pair for $125 shipped. As Scott himself noted, “This fabric was made for us by Pat Kline ( FHW) about 2-3 years ago and is currently not available from them.”
To be fair, I defer to buyers by earliest date/time of contact. I accept personal checks or PayPal (contact me before posting payment via PayPal!). Please direct queries to me at adennichols[at]gmail[dot]com.
Trowsers are sold, pending payment.
