Hello to all,
Just wondering if there are any people that can make the Atlanta Depot Jacket?

You might check with Kiev Thomason of The Traveling Man Emporium. Great work, good prices and a good man to deal with. Kiev might be able to fix you up.

Wamburg & White, as well as The Trans.-Mississippi Depot proably could. Although it would cost you a few $$$.
Hope it helps,
Garrett Glover
I know at one time County Cloth was selling kits.

I know another issue was the material used in that jacket, and Mr. Childs had a custom run of that at one time. Was anybody else ever able to replicate it?
Huck, also sending you a PM about a mutual friend...

Hi,
I have one made by Fred Baker, made from Mr. Childs custom run (if I recall correctly). He is on this forum, and he should be able to help you out. Thanks

Tim,
I've done three of them total and have another guy lined up that I'm cutting the cloth for soon. Bought the last of Childs' custom plains-wool a few years ago (at about $40 a yard). It's nice fabric.
Hope you make it out to Jefferson this weekend- I can chat with you about it then.
Regards,
Old Reb

Tim,
Texas State Troops and bushwhackers don't need an Atlanta Deport Jacket! But like The Fred wrote, I hope to see you in Jefferson this week-end.
