Hob Nail patterns on Union Brogans?

Does anyone have any documentation regarding the placement of hob nails on the soles of Union brogans?

Were these an issued item?

Does anyone have an photographic evidence?

I can tell you that there are many examples of Bootees on display in several museums that do not have hobnails but I can't find any info to say that they were never issued with hobnails, as far as pattern, the photos I have seen varied. If I find any I will get them to you

You can try contacting the sutler Missouri Boot and Shoe on the list of approved vendors. They make shoes with hobnails and I bet they can help guide you to any sources regarding patterns of hobnails.
