All,

I have been getting a lot of registrations and registration requests for closed Federal parties. In all fairness to all parties, I have rejected many of these over the summer. If your party has 25 men, then it is closed. Division commanders and party leaders do not have the "say-so" of letting you in a closed party. Attrition is not a factor for our registration process. Yes, we are going to lose people. But I am not matching that against our registration process.

We did not want to allow replacements either. And this was so other parties would gain men, but under special circumstances and my permission, I might be able to work something out with you. There are absolutely no transferring of registration fees. All reenactors must pay the registration fee. If you have an issue at all, contact me at the Bummers email address.

Be prepared to go with another party if I ask you to. Remember, ask me and I will let you know. Only trying to be fair.

Thanks!

Ken,

Will company commanders be getting email lists of their men so we can communicate prior to the event? It seems that you said we would at one time but I'm not sure if you did or I imagined it.

Mike,

Yes I do have them. I have 26 different lists to send out and I've been racked up with my youngest one's football season. Plus, soon as I get them caught up I get nailed with more registrations. I came home to nearly 20 more registrations yesterday, plus requests, favors, and the sorts.

I will make them a priority as best I can, but you definitely will get them!

No hurry Ken. There's time yet for communicatation. I just wanted to make sure my memory served me correctly.

Folks,

Please read the instructions on registration. If a foraging party says FULL it is full. No exceptions. It is easy as that. Don't try to play us on this issue. Ken is the man for registrations. All of them go to him so play by the rules.
