What is the differance between a Forum NCO and a commisioned officer?

Not a lot. The Forum NCO position is generally for newer moderators and the COs are for folks that have been around awhile and know how to work the administration screens. It's somewhat neglected however and I'm sure there's Forum NCOs that should be COs... I need to get to that.

We try to pass moderating responsibilities around among various groups, geographies and impressions so that we all have a hand in it. I wouldn't go as far as to say its representative like Congress, but we try. We also try to look for folks with particular areas of expertise - such as Coley Adair with Cavalry.

Moderators get plenty of burnout and the list of former moderators is fairly extensive:
Bryant Roberts, Matt Caldwell, Bo Carlson, John Tobey, Jay White, Charles Heath, Mike Ventura, Linda Trent, Pat Price, Glenn Jones, Chris Propes and probably quite a few others I'm not thinking of.

I'd like to get somebody added from the West Coast but the few candidates I've approached have all been unable to make the commitment.
