Where does the time mark come from on this forum. I realize that the time is usually set by the server, but this seems to be 5 or more hours ahead of eastern time. Is is GMT?

Five hours from GMT sounds about right.

You can set your time zone yourself. Go into your User CP, scroll down to edit options and hit that... then look for Time and Date.

I have mine set to GMT -5 which equals Eastern Time. -6 would be CST and so on.
