Hello Pards,
Could anyone give me a general outline on the history of thread used in the Civil War for both sides. I know that logwood dyed was comonly used for buttonholes and cotton was used to sew uniforms sometimes. If anyone could tell me what they know I would be much obliged. Merry Christmas to all!
