Civil War Era Woven Hair Watch Chain

Well, the 'experts' at Epay just yanked my auction since this was "of questionable authenticity." Go figure! So we will offer it here and they won’t get their fee! (And yes, the piece is indeed 19th century manufacture.)

The chain is in very nice condition as seen, and features some tiny stones or glass stones on the center piece. You could attach a fob or drop of your choosing to that center fitting. Overall length is about 10 inches.

I can see why eBay pulled this. If you stare intently at the hair part of the artifact, say for several hours, you will begin to clearly, yes clearly, see a swastika present in the weave.
Sharp folk them eBay experts, and once again saving us from ourselves!
