In you "On This Date" feature for April 6-7, regarding the Battle of Shiloh. You posted that "General Joe Johnston" dies from his wounds, or words to that effect. It was General Albert Sidney Johnston, the Confederate commander at Shiloh, not Joe Johnston. Albert Sidney Johnston was the highest ranking officer of either side to be killed in the Civil War (or any American war for that matter).
