I'm looking for a banjo tab setting for Darlin' Nellie Gray. Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

Hi,
Well, one possibility might be to also look to see if there are any banjo tabs for a traditional, slightly "salty," English seaman's ditty entitled "Maggie May." The tunes to these are similar, if not identical. Indeed, the Beatles actually did a brief version of "Maggie May" on their "Let It Be" album.

John, I'll email it to you this evening.
"...and we'd float down de river in my little red canoe, while my banjo, sweetly I would play..."

Greetings,
For whatever it's worth, here are the "Liverpool lyrics" of "Maggie May" (aka "Darling Nellie Gray"):

Daniel,
Long time no "see"! Since sending you that asphaltum paint a couple of years ago I have tried my own hand at banjar making and even more foolishly trying to learn to play. Carl Anderton has been VERY helpful (Thanks again, Carl!) but I would appreciate any assistance - especially since I think you are just "the other side of the mountains" from me. My email address now is: ottertin@sover.net
and my home address is:

I'm looking forward hearing from you. Thanks!
John
