Gentlemen,
I was needing a locksmith.I was cleaning my Enfield after an events in which it rained Sunday. As I took my lockplare off,I saw it was rusted.I took it apart to clean it,and now I can't put it together.I was wondering if anyone knows of a locksmith in KY or TN who can work on a lockplate.I've contacted my local gunsmith and they don't even know what I'm talking about.I would pay for shipping.I just need it back together.

You might also try Del Warren. He doesn't do de-farbs, but he is an accomplished gunsmith who can repair most any problem likely to be encountered with repop blackpowder firearms. Phone: 816.781.9473.
He and his wife own a mainstream sutlery based in Liberty MO and he is on the road quite a bit this time of year at mainstream events but I'll wager someone at that number can help you with the repair.

Cullen,
Your local gunsmith should be able to reassemble it. If they can't, send it to Lodgewood.
Based on personal experience, I wouldn't let John Zimmerman within 20 feet of any of my firearms.
