Come on lads! Don't dilly, don't dally! If you didn't make it by the registration cutoff for Confederates, come on over to the Federal side while spots remain; less than 1,000 remain. We'd be happy to have you in the ranks!

Company D, "The Connoquessening Rangers" might make an awfully nice home as well...;)

In all seriousness lads, it won't matter what company you land in, the leadership for this adjunct will be excellent and the experience top-notch. Follow Mr. Steele's instructions above and get registered. Time is getting short and space is running out. Hop off that fence and fall in with the 11th Penna. Reserves!

"...As night fell, Anderson's brigade lay down in a low field, its pickets covering much of the north woods, stopping at Hagerstown Pike where the cavalrymen were stationed. The Eleventh Reserves Regiment slept on its arms. Campfires were prohibited, but Rebel shells found the brigade's position anyway. (Lt. Col.)Samuel Jackson reported losing one man wounded to the Confederate Artillery. 'The enemy shell us all night', he wrote in his diary. The sentries were close enough to hear orders given by enemy officers. A cold drizzle fell, and what little sleep the Eleventh Reserves go was interrupted by occasional gunfire. There were no picket-line truces here."

So do individuals just pick which company they would like to fall in with, or are you placed in a company? Sorry if it's a dumb question. ~Gary
