I changed an e-mail option this morning, and suddenly everything turned green and brown. Is there a way to return to the blue background display?

Thank you.

Paul announced this change in an earlier post. It is an option, if you can find it. I couldn't........

In forum language, the "style" is a descriptor of different color and button sets you can use to view the forum. Current we are in the "default" style which is mainly blues and it looks ok.

However, I've created a new style which I'm calling "Earthy" and if you're on the home page or on the forum main page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see a little option menu on the left. Choose "Earthy" for a whole new look. It needs some tweaking but it's pretty easy on the eyes.

I'll add more styles later probably...

Dusty,

Thank you for looking, too. I searched for a good while, but I couldn't find it. I remember when Paul offered the option to change, but I had kept the default blue up until this morning. I think the option was on the "introduction" page for lack of a better word. I can't seem to find that page any more.

It's not a big deal. I just prefer soft blue over "manly man earthy colors." I should have left well enough alone...

I liked the brown shades. When the option came up I switched from blue to brown. About two days ago I had to re-register and now the pages are blue again. I've looked for the option button but have been unable to locate it.

Hallo Kameraden und Kameradinnen!

I could not find such a menu on either page. :-(

I had grown accustomed to the Sea Foam Green, Sea Mist Gray, Heather Lichen Green, and Cinnamon Brown I see now.
However, ever since giving up "things CS" a few years, I have grown partial to "blues." ;-)

The same thing happened to me about 5 minutes ago.....

does this mean I'm stuck with green and brown? It'll take some getting used to, but oh well.....

Cheers,
Adam

I just change the time format on my profile and *poof* my screen changed from blue to green.

Not bad, but I surely can't find the option link that was referred to.

The color for the forum doesn't really matter, it is the content that is important!!

There should be a box in the lower bottom left that allows you to adjust your styles. That box isn't there any longer. Perhaps one of the hacks I put in screwed it up. If you really want the blue style, post here and say so and I can adjust it for you manually. Don't expect real fast response times on that though... kinda low priority if you know what I mean.

With all you have to do, Paul, thank you so much for taking the time to make this adjustment. Like Dan said, the content is the real value here, and I'd appreciate it in any color. Your generosity with your time and resources, your endurance with difficult situations and people, and your vision for this forum from the beginning are truly commendable.

With much gratitude,

When you get a moment, would you mind switching me
back to blue? I should appreciate these forums in any
color, but I just really hate green! :) Thanks!

OK, I liked the green and now I am blue. And I can't stay logged in. Help!

Is there a way to get green again?
