#5C A cassimere weave on a cotton warp (2/2 twill) dyed using a Confederate recipe printed in Richmond in 1864. Includes Sumac and Logwood. Fades to a dirty khaki color. On a light brown modern dyed warp. Piece dyed. 54" wide. 27% cotton, 73%. wool. W-$22/yd. R-$25/yd.
It's this with the #10 dye, except it was piece dyed so the wool and warp were both originally blue/gray. Now the warp is a bit lighter than the weft in the faded areas.

Doug,
It is indeed, or at least a quality copy of said cap, such as is the gold standard of Greg's work.

The images of the items. If you need more please send me an email. If you expressed interest and have forwarded payment let me know that so that I can remove the item from the list.
These pictures also contain an image of a brown Clearwater hat that was originally 7 1/2, but after getting soaked a few times is more like a 7 3/4 or 8. It goes goes for $50.00.

Here's a merged image of the Bethune Frock original from which much of the detail was taken for the above frock.

Hi David.
I tried your email address again. I'll take the clearwater hat if you still have it. Can you tell me the sizes that the billet belt will adjust to? Is the 42 you have listed the largest adjustment? If my email doesn't get through to you please email me at Bill@newsensations.com to arrange the sale of the hat and/or billet belt. Thank you.
