I have a John Zimmerman custom made 1863 Springfield Type I .58 rifle-musket for sale. Whitacre barrel, seasoned American black walnut stock, with original lock parts, nose cap, barrel bands, trigger guard and plate plus the sling swivels, all other parts modern American made. The “State of Massachusetts” lockplate is a repro from S&S Firearms, all metal polished bright except for the rear sight which is blued. Has all correct markings.
The gun has been fired by the previous owner. I have not fired the gun. No rust, pitting, scratches or dings. $750 plus $20 shipping. Great gun for shooting or reenacting.
