I have a pair of Federal issue under-drawrs that I want to sell. They've been worn once and are in very fin condition. They are a waist size 36. $50.00

I also have a Federal issue shirt made of lite cotton. Never been worn, and in perfect condition. It is a large size, and very comfortable in warm weather. $50.00

I will mail items to buyer within 1 week of seeing reply.

Trade suggests? State in reply.

Might I inquire as to who made each of these two items?

You might want to take notice that nearly all federal issue shirts were made of domet flannel, not light cotton.

this is only a description. there are no lables on the shirt and it seems to be cotton.

I would like to apologize to the readers and Moderators of the AC Board for any troubles caused by this thread.

The young poster is the son of a friend of mine who was interested in getting into reenacting with a mainstream organization. I thought I could give him a start by giving him some old goods I had made and no longer used. The drawers were made by me, although they ended up being a bit small for me. The shirt was not made by me; it was a "gift" to him from a friend and is a mainstream level cotton shirt that was made over 10 years ago.

Neither of us thought these gifts would end up in the classifieds.

I did give him the link to Bob Szabo's board as well as this site, which I respect for the level of knowledge found within. I pointed it out as a good way to learn via the information posted as well as to scan the classified ads for used equipment that he might need to round out his impression.

Thank you to friend Schmidt for allowing me to post this apology.

Back to skulking from the rear rank!
