Have installed a simple hack that allows you to instant messenge right from our AC board using our own software (you dont need yahoo, AIM, ICQ or any of that.)
You can launch the window here:

Click where it says "Click here to Launch BB|Messenger. (javascript:void(0))"
People you want to message do need to be on your AC buddies list however. To add someone to your buddies list, go into their user profile and you should find a link (right under their avatar if they have one) to add that user to your buddy list.
Unfortunately this isn't full-blown chat, just a one on one thing I'm testing. If it proves useful we might make it permanent.
Please don't annoy other forum members with it however.
Also, if you have popup blockers installed you'll need to disable them to get this to run.
