Greetings all,

Actually knitting machines go much farther back, at least ten years prior to 1861. Elizabeth LeBriton Gunn mentions in her letters to her mother in 1851 instructions as to which knitting machine for the mother to purchase for making stockings/hose. I bet they're even older than we can imagine. :wink_smil
