Gents, I just moved from Cincinnati to Kalamazoo and would like to sell some items that I no longer need. Some of this was posted a while back while some of it is new.
#1.) Federal Issue Shirt made by Tim Arnold. Off-white domet flannel as per the original. Hand-felled seams, top-stitching, and buttonholes. This is a second-hand garment sold to me a while back. The shirt has shrunk to a comfortable 36"-38" chest but will fit anyone larger a little tightly. Paper-backed stamped tin buttons and a small cotton drill tab added to the collar for more room about the throat. Before I got this shirt it was filthy but I gave it a good hand washing in a baking soda saturated cold water bath so it's much better but still stained in placed, which gives the shirt a lot of character. I hate to give this one up but it just does not fit me! ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT OF $45

I made this garment during a sewing weekend and as it turned out I don't really need it. The stitching is very even and tight, the material was finished (washed and shrunk) before sewing so it should shrink only slightly after future washes (just no hot water, of course). Will fit up to a 44" chest. Brand new, never worn or even tried on, folded and waiting to go to a new home. $120 FIRM, INCLUDING SHIPPING for a brand-new nearly completely hand-sewn issue shirt.
#3.) Battleshirt/Overshirt/Workshirt made by myself. FHW's "Arkansas" tan cotton shirting with medium indigo blue wool flannel collar, placket, and pockets. Hand-felled seams, top-stitching, and buttonholes done in dark red cotton cord or thread, main seams are machine-sewn with natural cotton thread. Mililtary Warehouse's Federal general service brass buttons adorn the placket while original dark brown bone buttons close the cuffs. If you wanted to you could very easily change the "flavor" of the shirt from Confederate battleshirt to civilian overshirt or workshirt by simply removing the brass buttons. This attractive shirt will fit a 42" chest. Brand new, never worn, folded and waiting to go to a new home. $120 FIRM, INCLUDING SHIPPING.
#4.) Red Knit Wool Undershirt w/Flannel Bottom made by myself. Long story short; I made this for myself a while back but never got around to fully altering it to what I considered my desired size (somewhat form-fitting). This shirt is made from hand-dyed red knit wool (it's fairly thick and not like t-shirt material, in case you were curious) and is machine-sewn with vibrant indigo blue cotton thread. The buttonholes are hand-worked and the shirt has a small placket with two small white glass buttons attached. The sleeves have been slightly modified, that is, cut a bit narrow to fit closer to the arm but as long as you're not The Incredible Hulk it will be a good fit. The bottom half of the shirt is made from white cotton flannel and is intended to be tucked into drawers or trousers. I like the look of this shirt a lot but decided not to take the time to alter it to my personal liking. Cut to a 42" chest fitted shirt pattern; if you sew and have some time you can sew this down a little to make it somewhat less roomy if you're wanting that somewhat tight undershirt fit. $55 FIRM, INCLUDING SHIPPING and just in time for Franklin, wouldn't you say?
#5.) ALTERED Federal Issue Drawers made by W., W. & Company. Canton flannel as per regulations. Size 36" waist Federal issue pattern drawers that were taken apart, French seamed, and worn once in the field at TAG in 2003. They have been cleaned well since then of course. The French seamed legs ended up being a little too tight for me so someone with legs thinner than tree trunks will be alright in these. You can't deny how comfortable canton flannel under-drawers feel. Used once, some stains, a few loose threads but still wearable. ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT OF $35
