Corner Clothiers Problem

I've seen Corner Clothiers' work endorsed here many times over, and I've seen it in person and have been pleased with the work but I am having a problem getting in touch with Kara and I'm wondering where an item is that I paid for over two months ago.

In March I dropped off some gold wool for a vest and just two months ago I sent payment for the order along with some tan polished cotton. I was never promised the vest at a specific date but I was told that the project would be worked on and delivered, if possible, by the South Union, KY event. Since then I have recieved no update from Kara or Brian and despite mailing them several times I have yet to hear back on the status of my vest.

When I heard from Kara a month ago she told me that she and Brian were hosting some friends for a movie shoot and shortly after that they were moving into their new shop with Chris Daley and the rest. Does anyone know what Kara and Brian are up to now? I really need my vest and quite frankly I could have made several on my own in the time it takes to get this single vest and using less money too.

I have mailed Kara, several times to be honest, and I thought that posting my troubles on the AC would prompt some sort of reply. I had no problem finding their contact information.

There is always the phone. I know they've had a computer explode this year. You can always call Kara at the store on Sunday or Monday at 717-334-4429. She'll be working there both of those days.

Suggesting another extra step:

In a case like this, if you cant seem to reach the vendor via email or telephone, feel free to contact me or the AC moderators too and we'll help you get in touch with a particular vendor.

Probably best to do that and then as absolute last resort post on the forum. I only suggest that for Approved Vendors here though... "other vendors" may or may not be acquaitences of ours.

Kara and Speedy have been buried with the new shop and the Film they have been working on for the past few months.

They do excellent work, and I am sure you will be quite pleased when you receive the vest.

This thread was brought to my attention the other day. I have tried to email you several times since then and they have been bounced back to me saying the mailbox is full. I will keep trying so we can get this situation taken care of.
