Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States - have a complete set of Maine volumes (4) and 2-10 of the Rhode Island volumes. These are first hand accounts of Union soldiers and sailors from ALL states (not just the two listed) read before the commanderies of the states. Subjects vary from camp to battles, recrutiing to the return home, but mostly concern an individual action or campaign TM, west and east. Great detail here. Each state gathered and published the volumes religiously, with Rhode Island apparently very motivated as the vast majority of papers are not from Rhode Island soldiers. I have originals or 2nd copies of the above and so do not need the duplication. All books are mint and most are still in shrink wrap.
Maine - all 4 volumes: $60 total or $16 per (new they were $33).
Rhode Island - 9 volumes: $110 or $16 per
Cold Mountain, by Charles Frazier, new in dust jacket - the Pulitzer Prize novel that spawned the movie (much better than the movie) - $12
The Guns of Cedar Creek - by Thomas Lewis - full length study of the campaign, paperback, VG, $6 or free with any of the Mollus above
