This is the same one I posted awhile back...deal fell through mutually so I am going to relist it.
Overall its new...I took the shrinkwrap off of it only last Feb. I bought it in 1997 when they announced they were out of business and I called up and bought a few extra items they had. This was the last M1860 Light Cavalry Sabre.
There is a very slight 'nick' or 'crack' in the first layer of brass on the guard...you have to look REAL close to see it, I mention it so no one thinks I am holding out.
I confirmed with a friend that the blade seems a little loose or wobbly...its seems to be attached very thouroughly, but I am going to try and shim it up a little. Seems to be about a 1/32 inch play. Because of this I am lowering the cost a little.
I want $125. I will send pictures upon requests. Shipping will be priority with insurance and tracking...this I am told will be about $20.00.
After 15 days of this post I will consider realistic offers and then if it does not sell before 30 days I will just carry it when I do Indian Wars programs at local forts.
