Civilian pattern curb bit

I was wondering if any of the mounted civilians here knew of a good source for a civilian curb bit and/or bridle set up. I can make the bridle/halter/saddle, but am lacking the bit itself.

If theres someone making one I havent heard of them. I lucked up and got one off of Ebay, and even it is a question mark. John Nolan looked at it and said its a good period bit but I sent Ken Knopp pictures and he thinks its late. :confused:
