Well Everyone, my role here at the AC has shifted as I needed to scale down my role a bit. Graphics are what I like to do and from here on out, and thanks to Matt Woodburn, that is what I am going to do. I am also over a case of major burnout that occurred after a long and eventful season (mostly planning RM).

First off, I will be posting the image submissions for the new cover around the 20th - just like we were doing before. It will be essentially the same process, so if you have any images to submit, get them ready on the 20th.

Second, I will resume doing avatars for those who want them. I have photo software that makes it pretty easy to do and I know that a lot of people lost their information after the last crash. If you would like to have an avatar, please send me an e-mail at eric@authentic-campaigner.com (eric@authentic-campaigner.com). It must be a period image in your most authentic gear. It doesn't have to be a wet-plate, but it should be a good representation of an authentic impression.

Third, I will be re-installing the image gallery, which unfortunately lost over 700 images. I would like to build it back to where it was and beyond. We can provide a really good record of what we do in the field for others to see.

That about wraps it up for now. In summary - I'll be working on graphics on the site, helping people with avatars, and working on the image gallery.

Good to have ya back Eric. I need you to work on my avatar to maybe make me look 15 or 20 years younger. Thanks in advance for your time. Just kidding of course!

Eric,

I'm a bit digital graphics-challenged but would like to have an avatar. I've got a nice wet-late image I'd like to use, so what's the next step--should I just scan it and email it to you? Help!

Thanks in advance for working your computer magic!

Cheers,
