Greetings everyone,
I was talking with a pard of mine about canteens made by different manufactures during the war, and were curious about any variations in those contract products. Does anyone have access to original contract canteens which differ in size or capacity from War Department specifications? Since slight differences can be found in contract clothing and equipment, I assume the same is true for canteens. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
