Park Visitors

During the Immortal 600 2007, is the park open for visitors? If so, are reservations for tour groups required?

I ask because a good fellow I worked with for nearly 10 years recently retired and moved to near the Savannah area, and may have an interest in attending this as a "spectator". I noticed that the event does not appear on Fort Pulaski NM's website of "2007 events".

Yes the Park will be open. I do not believe reservations will be needed. In the past they just offer guided tours every couple of hours for those that wanted.

Actually there will be tours on the hour. The park should be getting the event up, we will be talking with them this week.
